June 2nd - Kids Art Contest Begins - Extended Deadline!!!

Draw a picture and email it to us, with a statement explaining why you love the ocean! All submissions will be entered for a chance to win a gourmet picnic for four from Taste of Gros Morne, and an illustrated children's Book, "Octopuses Are NEAT!" by Kelani Stam. Don't forget to include your name and age in your entry!

June 2nd - Trash Bingo Challenge Begins

Join us and our friends at Gros Morne Outdoor Co. and Gros Morne Adventures for a sunset SUP paddle on beautiful Bonne Bay! Tour stars at the Government Wharf in Norris Point. BYOB (Bring Your Own Board) or rent one!

June 7th - AHOI Oceans Tunes on VOBB

AHOI's very own Emily Walsh will be live on the Voice of Bonne Bay Radio (VOBB) on Monday, June 7 1-2 pm NST, sharing some of her favourite ocean-inspired tunes! Tune into 95.9 & 89.1 FM locally, and online anywhere in the world!

June 8th - World Ocean Day Celebrations with Tree House Family Resource Centre

Join AHOI and Miss Angela from Tree House Bonne Bay North, for an educational, fun-filled day for preschool-aged children! The event will include lots of activities and a visit from our friend and Parks Canada Ambassador, Parka! Space is limited and registration is required. Please contact Tree House directly to book.

June 10th - Community Cleanup and Salmon Talk - Trout River

We're teaming up with our partners at Parks Canada - Gros Morne National Park, to help clean up one of our region's beautiful  beaches, in an area that is especially important for salmon. Join us for this PUBLIC EVENT to learn about salmon and Parks Canada's salmon restoration efforts, while also doing your part in ensuring they have a healthy, clean place to live!
